| Sweet Almond |
A general all purpose oil for all skin types, generally used on normal older skins. |
| Arnica |
Excellent for bruises, strained muscles and tendons. Haemorrhages, swellings and bone fractures. Also hair loss due to anxiety. |
| Calendula |
Is an anti-inflammatory, good for old scars, wounds,also soothing for cracked nipples when breast feeding. |
| Comfrey |
Bruising, fractures, connective tissue damage, eczema, wounds and ulcers, inflammation, respiratory disorders. Relieves itchy, sore and rough skin. |
| Carrot Seed |
Used on animals as this base oil is extremely thick and has a distinctive aroma, used for poor hoof & coat conditions and for animals that are generally run down. Aids cell regeneration. Rich in beta-carotene. |
| Devils Claw |
Has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Excellent for arthritis, tendonitis, ulcers, boils and chilblains. Action compared with that of cortisone. |

Grapeseed Oil |
A much lighter carrier oil which is easily absorbed into the body, ideal to use when there are menstrual, menopausal problems present. This is the base for Essentially Woman ONE & TWO
Has soothing and calming properties and acts as a good emollient. A cheaper oil which has long shelf life and although we always sell Grapeseed we encourage the use of other more beneficial oils |

Jojoba
Lime Blossom |
A really deep yellow oil and one of our favourites, easily absorbed into the skin making it an excellent oil for both oil & dry skins. Assists the control of sebum. The base of Essentially Woman THREE
A lighter oil, helps clear the skin from impurities and helps combat wrinkles! Soothing & softening, used in baby skin care products. |
| Sunflower |
Rich in minerals and nourishing. |
| Rosehip Seed |
One of the best anti-wrinkle oils ever! This oil may be used as part of a blend or in its own right, on problem skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It has a high linoleic acid content which makes it great for fine lines & wrinkles! |
| Peach Kernel |
Finely textured and easily absorbed by the skin. Its Vitamin E content adds some preservative qualities to a blend. |
| Aloe Vera Gel |
Comes from the leaf of the cactus, its healing properties are recognised worldwide and it is especially noted for its soothing and healing effect on skin afflictions and wounds. Aloe Vera gel is a good carrying agent for essential oils but it can also be effective on its own. This gel forms the basis for most of Healing Oils products |
| Seaweed Gel |
This antiseptic gel has strong cooling properties and is particularly useful in reducing swellings and inflamed skin. Seaweed essential oil may be added to enhance its drawing properties but the gel is effective on its own. |
| Green clay |
Poultice/Detoxifying. |
| Red clay |
Rich in iron, less absorbent than green clay. |
| White clay |
Similar to green clay but lacks the trace elements. It is fairly mild and contains a large amount of aluminium, which makes it a useful healing agent or sun block. |
| Pink clay |
A mixture of red and white clay, heals, disinfects and soothes, indicated for dehydrated or delicate skin. |
| Poultices |
Green clay makes an excellent poultice, by making a paste with water, or oil. Water and clay will be drying and drawing, oil and clay will offer a protective base on the skin. |
